Specialist in Macular and Retinal Disease & Cataract Surgery.

Gavin was appointed as a Consultant in Nottingham in 1993 after training in Los Angeles and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.

He has been responsible for establishing Nottingham University Hospital as a major referral centre for retinal disease in the East Midlands. As well as his work for the NHS, Gavin consults privately at Park Vision or The BMI Park Hospital, and operates at the BMI and Nottingham Woodthorpe.

Gavin is always on hand as medical advisor to Park Vision.

A leading SportsVision Consultant and has performed vision screening assessments as part of Johnson and Johnson’s Be The Best You Can Be programme for athletes competing at the Beijing Olympics

Ed has screened International athletes competing in Judo, Rowing, Snooker, Rugby, Shooting and more and given lectures to Opticians on the role of vision in sport.

He was the winner at the 2011 Optician Awards - the optical industry’s highest accolade as Sports Vision Optometrist of the Year 2011.
Gavin Rebello

Gavin is passionate about Sports Vision and has extensively studied in specialised fields of vision training, visual efficiency, peripheral awareness, central-peripheral integration, binocular vision. He has worked with GB No1 skier/8th world ranking Chemmy Allcot, England Hockey Chloe Rogers, Pro-golfers Ignacio Garrido and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castagno , Paralymic and now world junior record holder, Jonny the Giant, amongst others including many amateur and hobby athletes.

Gavin was awarded Sports Vision Optometrist of the Year in 2010.
